Steve's background in operations, marketing and
technology helps ensure that web applications and
systems focus on meeting the needs of both the user
and service provider. His ability to thoughtfully
develop a concept from spark to successful implementation
makes him a key participant in every MYM project.
In 1988, Steve cofounded a locator service in Florida
which grew into an Inc 500 company. The company
quickly became the largest locator service in Florida
with 8 offices throughout the state. During his
college days at UF in Gainesville, Florida, Steve
bought and renovated small apartment buildings and
roomming houses converting the real estate into
successful student housing. |

Barbara
Oehlerking
- Creative Director
Barbara Oehlerking is the co-founder of Apartment
Hunters and has served as Secretary, Treasurer,
and a Director of the Company since its formation
in December 1987.
In the fall of 2002, Barbara founded Grande Occasions
at the Town Center Events Center. She has coordinated
and directed numerous weddings, expos, and corporate
events. For the past two years Barbara has worked
with a number of relocation companies, assisting
with corporate and individual relocations. She never
uses the "cookie cutter" approach; she
customizes her service to fit the explicit needs
of each client. She is known for her high level
of service which she extends to all of her accounts. |

Cherie
Lovett -
Business Development Consultant
Cherie Lovett has lived in Florida since 1972. Cherie
has a strong business background, having owned 13
successful small businesses. Each business was either
started as a new venture or was a business in bankruptcy
that she took over, built into a thriving profitable
business, and sold. She is a master at building
large growth in businesses. Cherie has personally
trained over 750 employees and managers, and has
trained and been a consultant for many business
owners. She has always felt that to be in any business
you must be the best in your field. |

Rick
Ellis - CPM,
Business Development Consultant
Since 1980, Mr. Ellis has been successfully involved
in the management and operation of apartments and
other residential rental real estate, handling a
portfolio as large as 6,000 units in four major
markets. In 1984, Rick opened an Apartment Locator
Service which has grown into 3 locations in Dallas.
Besides the daily operation of large apartment portfolios
and a successful Apartment Locator Service, he is
recognized as an industry expert in apartment marketing,
property positioning, and evaluation of rental markets
and sub-markets throughout the country. Mr. Ellis
is a much sought after speaker, making hundreds
of presentations each year on topics from basic
apartment leasing and Resident retention, to the
"Economics of Apartments." His ongoing
consulting contracts include national and regional
management companies and several Dallas-based REITs
with nationwide portfolios.
Mr. Ellis received a Bachelor of Science in 1977
and Masters of Art in 1979 from Abilene Christian
University, Abilene, Texas. He holds the Certified
Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute
of Real Estate Management. His firm has earned the
prestigious Accredited Management Organization (AMO)
from that same association. He also holds a Texas
Real Estate Broker license and is an Eagle Scout.
